Issenheim is a commune of the Haut-Rhin département, in the Alsace région of northeastern France.

The Issenheim altarpiece (or Isenheim Altarpiece), currently on display at the Unterlinden Museum of Colmar, was painted in 1517 by Matthias Grünewald for a local monastery.
