Ishikari (Japanese: 石狩市; -shi, Ainu: Iskarun) is a city located in Ishikari subprefecture, Hokkaido, Japan.


As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 55,051 and the density of 467.13 persons per km�. The total area is 117.85 km&sup2.


The city was founded on September 1, 1996.
