Ivy Tech State College is the state of Indiana's second-largest post-secondary school. The name "Ivy Tech" actually derives from the original name for the school, Indiana Vocational Technical College, and the name was officially changed to Ivy Tech State College in 1995. The name was changed again in 2005 to Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana.
