JALExpress is a wholly owned subsidiary airline of Japan Airlines (JAL).
JALExpress operates services to the following domestic scheduled destinations (as of January 2005): Fukuoka, Hakodate, Kumamoto, Matsuyama, Nagoya, Oita, Okinawa, Osaka, Sapporo, Sendai and Tokyo.
The JALExpress fleet consists of eight Boeing 737-400 aircraft (as of March 2005).
Among other distinctions, JAL has the largest fleet of Boeing 747s in the world (approximately 76, at March 2005), and is the only Asian airline that flies to Mexico City.
JAL is a strong supporter of UNICEF and expresses its support by having a "We Support UNICEF" logo on each of the airline's aircraft.
JAL is activly repainting all it's aircraft with the new livery but can still see JAL, JAA and JALways aircraft in their old liveries.
