The city of Jalapa was built on a Valley, surrounded by the Jumay volcano and the mountains of Alcoba, Arluta and the Jalapa Mouuntains. For this reason and its altitude 4468 feet (1361 meters) the inhabitants enjoy an excelent weather, which is mild temparete, for this reason Jalapa ins Known as the: "climatologic of the west".
