Biography

He attended Shishu Biddyapit of Kolkata, Chittagong Collegiate School, Lawrence College of Pakistan for his secondary and higher secondary education. He graduated from Saint Xaviers College in Kolkata. Then he went to Cambridge University for higher study. There he graduated for the second time from Trinity College. He earned his doctorate in Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics from Cambridge in 1964.
