James Keach born (December 7, 1947 in Savannah, Georgia) is an American actor, producer, and director. He is the younger brother of actor Stacey Keach. He was director of the 1993 TV series and 1999 movie Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman which is how he met his current wife, the actress Jane Seymour who played the character of Dr.Quinn. We caught up with James Keach at the NY Art Expo (2004) where Jane where Jane Seymour was one of the featured artists.

Keach received his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University, M.F.A. from the Yale School of Drama, and is also a classically trained Shakespearean actor.
Keach portrayed Jesse James in the 1980 film The Long Riders, a film which he co-wrote and produced.
