Coupled with the coolest promotional web site, James Mangold's Identity is shaping up to become one of this spring's most awaited hot new films.
James Mangold has literally just put the finishing touches of his latest film, Identity, a star-studded ensemble thriller starring John Cusack and Ray Liotta, which has everyone talking.
Though a thriller, Mangold insists that Identity is "audacious and not a down the middle thriller, but a film that's extremely challenging and it really throws some questions at the audience and stylistically it's a noir throwback.

Mangold got his seemingly illustrious start as a graduate fresh out of the California Institute of the Arts, joining a Disney program that encouraged and fostered young filmmakers, making him one of the youngest to start out.
Having grown discontent with the film industry, Mangold was cooped up in his place and tried writing which eventually lead to an interest in writing as a profession.
Having spent a couple years uninspired and despondent, Mangold decided to re-establish himself and applied to Columbia University's film school, where he graduated with an M.F.A. in film.
