Jamie, who starred in the TV gangster series Family and recently in the big screen hits Football Factory and Layer Cake, is the son of Freddie Foreman, who in the Sixties was a renowned South London gang leader.
Jamie was so captivated by the characters in the story of Oliver Twist that when he was a youngster he imagined himself as the Artful Dodger and actually did one of Dodger's speeches for drama school.
