The 31-year-old Huscroft was a ninth-round choice (171st overall) of the New Jersey Devils in the 1985 entry draft.
Huscroft joined the Bruins as a free agent in 1992 and split his playing time between Boston and Providence (AHL).
Huscroft was traded from the Flames to Tampa Bay in March of 1997.

Defenseman Jamie Huscroft was among the toughest blue liners in the entire Western Hockey League when he was drafted by the New Jersey Devils.
Huscroft played 57 games for the Lightning over the next season and a half before he packed his bag again, this time to join the Vancouver Canucks.
Huscroft played just seven games with the big team while spending most of his time in the organization providing veteran leadership to their American Hockey League farm club, the Portland Pirates.
