Sircar, forty seats and SAARC (808 words)
Jamiruddin Sircar feels offended at the way Reza Kibria referred to his sense of responsibility, or the lack of it, the other day.
Sircar has all the right in the world to feel aggrieved, for it is rare in the history of modern democracy that a speaker of parliament is upbraided by people who feel he should have done a better job.
Sircar has tried to convince the country that no one on his staff, no member of parliament, no one close to him, no one among his friends and acquaintances let him in on the news that Kibria's life had come to an end.
