Jan Jesensky (b. 1870 Prague, d. 1947 Prague), professor (1911) of stomatology at Prague University. Excellent scientist. Founder and head of Prague Stomatology Clinic until Hitler occupation in 1939) Member of Bohemian Academy. He was father of Milena Jesenska.

Jesenský (also known as Jesenius) was a nobleman who took part in the historic Battle of Bílá Hora (White Mountain), a decisive battle for the Czech Lands in the Thirty Years’ War.
