Janet Rachael Margaret (1921 - 1990) was an English squash player who dominated the game in the 1950s. She won the British Open on 10 consecutive occasions and was the sport's most famous player until the rise of Heather McKay.
Career
Born in Wandsworth, London, Janet was originally a tennis player who played for Britain in the Wightman Cup in 1946. She quickly turned to squash and in 1948 and 1949 was a losing finalist against Joan Curry. In 1950 she won her first British Open beating Curry in the process. She went on to win the trophy until 1959. Persistent back injuries meant that Janet had to retire in 1960, but she became the first chairwoman of the Women's Squash Racquets Association soon after.
Janet also found time to write a book in 1953 entitled Squash rackets for women.

Janet works with her knowledge of crystals, metaphysics and astrology to study the broader picture of what is happening on our planet - and within our solar system and the universe - as we approach 21.12.2012, a significant date in the Mayan Calendar.
Janet is aware that crystals and minerals hold the oldest consciousness of our known Universe within the intelligence of their life forms, and that we can have no better structure than an ancient one to assist the new matrix being created for Planet Earth.
