Japan Asia Airways, Co., Ltd. (日本アジア航空株式会社 Nihon Ajia Kōkū Kabushiki-gaisha^?)) is an airline subsidiary of Japan Airlines. It operates flights between Japan and Taiwan. It was formed in 1975 after the People's Republic of China threatened to deny JAL's proposed routes to the mainland over JAL's and China Airlines' reciprocal flights (see political status of Taiwan).
