Jared Tron is one of the most famous snowboarders in history. He graduated Burr and Burton Academy in 2001 and is currently a senior at Lyndon State College and majoring in Ski Resort Management. He is a AASI Level 1 certified snowboarding instructor. He has twice received super counselor award from rolling hills.
Tron started snowboarding at age eleven during the 93/94 season. In the eleventh grade snowboarding was introduced as a varsity sport at Burr and Burton Academy. He competed in slopestyle, halfpipe, and giant slolom for two years and helped the team take home a state championship. He also received training at Windells Snowboard Camp in 2000 and 2002.
