Jari Kainulainen was the bassist of the Finnish power metal band Stratovarius. He is currently no longer a member, but was a part of the band from 1993 to 2005. Rumours has it that he left, because he was tired of working together with his ex-boss Timo Tolkki. He played on the 2005 album Stratovarius, but was then replaced by Lauri Porra. He plays a six-string Ibanez bass. He now has his own band called MESS. A bassist is a musician who plays a double bass or electric bass (also referred to as bass guitar). ...
