Personal life Jay being born and raised in a strict British Sikh family aspired to do well in education by attending a private boys school. There he went on to win a place at Queen Mary's School of Medicine and Dentistry to train as a doctor. After two years, Jay Sean secured a one million pounds record deal and dropped out to pursue his musical career. After his first album "Me Against Myself", he went on a small world tour because of the moderate success of his debut album.
