Jazzercise has several different varieties of class. The classic Jazzercise class consists of dance movements 'on the floor'. These classes may be supplemented with weights, exercise balls, or stretch bands depending on the location. Other classes in step aerobics, body sculpting (workouts with weights), flexibility, and for children are also offered depending on the location. Some Jazzercise instructors are also certified to offer Personal Touch classes which focus on classes of 3 to 5 students. Personal Touch directs students in success in more rigorous exercises and weight routines than offered in the larger classes.
