Jeff Zywicki (born April 8, 1981) is a professional lacrosse player. Hailing from Ottawa, Ontario, in 2006 Jeff spearheaded the Canadian Men's lacrosse team to its first World Lacrosse Championship since 1978 when it defeated the USA 15-10 in the final of the 2006 World Lacrosse Championship. Jeff had an outstanding championship, being awarded the 'Best Attackman' and earning a spot on the All-World team after scoring a tournament high 28 goals in 8 games. After graduating from the University of Massachusetts that same year, Jeff was drafted to the San Jose Stealth NLL team. He also plays for the Denver Outlaws of Major League Lacrosse. Early Career

Jeff grew up in Nepean, Ontario, Canada where he played his minor league lacrosse. At 15, he led his Midget lacrosse team to a Provincial championship with his father, Eugene Zywicki as the head coach. At 16, Jeff played for the Nepean Knights Jr. B lacrosse team of the Ontario Lacrosse Association where he still holds the Knights record for most points per game in his career. During this time, he also played for the Jr. ‘A’ Orillia Rama-Hammond Kings. Jeff is known for his explosive speed and acrobatic, highlight-reel goals. The Nepean Knights are Junior B box lacrosse team from Nepean, Ontario, Canada. ... The Ontario Lacrosse Association, abreviated as OLA, is a sanctioned sports body in Ontario, Canada. ...


Jeff, in addition to a professional career, also currently coaches a boys' lacrosse team and spends much more time in the locker room than necessary. This makes the reason for the team's low morale and general hestitancy to enter the locker room a mystery, as Jeff always leaves with a smile. He is currently wanted by the Canadian government for 43 counts of pedophilia and 14 other accounts of offensives against minors.
