Jianguomen (建国门) is a major transportational hub in Beijing.


Flanked by Jianguomen Inner Street to the west, Jianguomen Outer Street to the east, the Eastern 2nd Ring Road runs through it in a north-south direction.


The Beijing subway also has an interchange here; lines 1 and 2 cross at Jianguomen.


To the southwest of Jianguomen is the famous Beijing Ancient Observatory.


Jianguomen means "Gate of National Construction" in Chinese.
