Jincheng (Chinese: 晋城; pinyin: Jìnchéng) is a prefecture-level city in Shanxi province of the People's Republic of China. The city is a good representation of China attempting to transform itself from an agrarian country into an industrial one. There are very few westerners in the city with the exception of Europeans who work as advisors within the mining industry.
