Jody Dobrowski was a 23-year old bar worker who was murdered on Clapham Common in south London, on the 14th of October 2005. He was beaten to death with punches and kicks. His body was so badly damaged, his own family couldn't identify him. His death led to the sentencing of his murderers, Thomas Pickford and Scott Walker, for at least 28 years after being given a life sentence each. Detective Chief Inspector Nick Scola, the lead investigator in the case, said that Dobrowski's face was so battered badly that he was unrecognizable.
