John Christ is a musician, born on February 19, 1965. Christ attended Towson University studying Jazz before dropping out to join Samhain in 1987, which became the heavy metal band Danzig in 1988. Christ remained with the band officially until July 5, 1995. He has been known for his bluesy metal sound and frequent use (like Zakk Wylde) of the pinch harmonic. His self-released debut solo album is titled Flesh Caffeine.
