John "JD" DeServio, is the current bassist in Black Label Society, joining after the departure of James Lomenzo in 2005. JD also featured in Pride and Glory, Wylde's southern rock trio (again as a replacement for Lomenzo) and played with Black Label Society on the tour supporting the Sonic Brew album. JD is currently on BLS's fall tour in support of the 2006 release Shot To Hell. He used to carry his uncased bass around the Berklee School of Music, while studying there, and be heard playing Bach inventions. She is survived by four sons, Pat DeServio of Freehold, Louis DeServio of Lanoka Harbor, Andrew and John DeServio of Cliffwood Beach; a daughter, Joanne Fagan, of Hazlet; a sister, Connie Antonio, of Brooklyn; four granddaughters and two grandsons.
She was predeceased by her husband, Leo J. McKernan, in 1961; her son, Robert, in 1967; her son, John, in 1941; a daughter, Margaret, in 1940; a brother, Louis Krekel, in 1929; and a sister, Margaret Davis, in 1987.
She is survived by two sons, Leo McKernan of Monroe and Thomas McKernan of Hazlet; four daughters, Sister Doris McKernan of Wayne, Patricia Clancy of Hazlet, MaryAnn Cristofoletti of Pensacola, Fla., and Joan Vaszlavik of Jersey City; 24 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
