The Right Honourable John Matthew Patrick Hutton (born 6 May 1955) is a politician in the United Kingdom. He is Labour Member of Parliament for Barrow and Furness, and was first elected in 1992. He is minister for the Cabinet Office, and was made a member of the Privy Council in 2001. In the reshuffle following the 2005 general election, he was made Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster.
