John Leckie is one of British music's most prolific producers, having worked on such high-profile albums as The Bends by Radiohead, Showbiz by Muse, George Harrison's All Things Must Pass, the debut album by The Stone Roses, Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon and The Verve's A Storm in Heaven. Also, as Swami Anand Nagara, he produced The Dukes of Stratosphear's 25 O'Clock mini-album, and the follow up Psonic Psunspot. This album's producer John Leckie (Radiohead, Muse, My Morning Jacket) arrived on the scene via a demo sent to him by their Irish record label, and he called the very next day.
The sleeve photo of a crocodile's eye with a faint image of Rodrigo and Gabriela superimposed, suits the artists' desire for something which didn't shout "Mexican guitarists" or "Couples." "It reminded us of Tamacun, the famous Mexican eccentric who is in Ixtapa where we lived for a while".

In recent Leckie news, John has been reunited with Senegalese superstar of the world stage 'Baaba Maal' and is currently recording an album set to be released on Palm Pictures in the near future.
John has recently been in the studio with Scott Matthews (Island Records) to record a live acoustic and strings session that will be released as a CD Bonus disc in conjunction with the his debut album re-launch.
