John Otto was the acting director of the FBI in 1987.
John Otto is the drummer and an original member of the band Limp Bizkit. Unlike many modern drummers, he learned jazz-style drumming. In November2004, rumors on Limp Bizkit fan boards began to surface of the departure of John Otto from Limp Bizkit. These conclusions were derived from the fact that new pictures of John Otto had not shown up on Limp Bizkit's official site for several months. These rumors were addressed by Fred Durst himself in a post on his official website entitled "People are Dumb". Fred did not address the topic directly; he chose to give subliminal "hints" that John was indeed still in the band. Recently, pictures of John Otto have surfaced on Limp Bizkit's website, disproving the rumors altogether.
John XIII (born in Rome; died September 6, 972) served as Pope from October 1, 965 until his death in 972.
Otto II was afterwards married to the niece of the Byzantine Emperor John I Tzimisces, as part of the ongoing attempt to reconcile Eastern and Western Churches.
John created new Latin archbishoprics in southern Italy, thus reducing the influence of the Eastern Orthodox church, as well as the Byzantine Empire.
On the twelfth a Roman synod took place, at which John, at Otto's desire, founded the Archbishopric of Magdeburg and the Bishopric of Morseburg, bestowed the pallium on the Archbishops of Salzburg and Trier, and confirmed the appointment of Rother as Bishop of Verona.
John now sent an embassy to Otto to propitiate the latter, and at the same time to explain the pope's grievance, which was that the emperor had received for himself the oath of allegiance from those cities of the Ecclesiastical States, which he had reconquered from Berengarius.
On 26 February, 964, John held a synod in St. Peter's in which the decrees of the synod of 6 November were repealed; Leo VIII and all who had elected him were excommunicated; his ordination was pronounced invalid; and Bishop Sico of Ostia, who had consecrated him, was deprived forever of his dignities.
