John Warne is the bassist for the Christian rock band Relient K. He originally started filling in as the band's bassist in September 2004, after Brian Pittman left the band less than a month earlier. Warne joined Relient K as the full-time bassist in February 2005, after his departure from the band Ace Troubleshooter, for which he had been lead singer and guitarist. In 2004, he also participated in the short-lived band Guerilla Rodeo, which produced a three-track EP. He also played bass during his time in Guerilla Rodeo. Warne's latest duty for Relient K is animating the band's flash cartoon, Woodland Forest. It is rumored that he wants to contribute a project to the next volume of My Other Band, a compilation series featuring side projects from Christian rock artists. Warne's bandmates Matt Thiessen and Dave Douglas both contributed to My Other Band, Vol. 1. Warne's hometown is Minneapolis, Minnesota.
