Johnny Cash (February 26, 1932 – September 12, 2003) was a vastly influential American country music singer, guitarist, and songwriter.
In 1944, a tragic incident occurred that affected Johnny Cash for the rest of his life; Jack was pulled into a whirring table saw in the mill where he worked, and almost cut in two.
Johnny Cash was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1980 and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1992.
John William "Johnny" Carson (October 23, 1925 – January 23, 2005) was an American actor, comedian and writer best known for his iconic status as the host of The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson.
Many got their "big break" by appearing on the show, and it was considered the crowning achievement to not only get Johnny to laugh out loud, but also to be called over to the guest chair.
On that cue, the real Johnny Carson emerged from behind the stage curtain; when the audience realized that it was truly Carson, they exploded into a standing ovation.
