Jorge Arce (born July 27, 1979) was a world champion in the light flyweight (108-pound) division in the sport of boxing for several years, and is now a top contender in the flyweight (112-pound) division. He has one of the longest-running winning streaks in the sport, having not lost a fight in more than six years. Born in Los Mochis, Mexico, Arce turned pro at the age of 16. He won his first four fights, then hit a snag against two future contenders. Arce continued to tattoo Hussein's body with wdigging body shots and at the 2:20 mark of the 5th, he nailed his opponent with a scorching double left hook to the ribs and head.
Arce returned to his ruthless role in the ninth round, as again he trapped Hussein in the corner and hurt him with a volley of shots to the head and belly.
