Jorge Castro (born approx. 1970) is a Theatricalactor from Puerto Rico. Skinny and dark-haired, Castro has participated in some television projects as well, including some locally produced movies.
Castro has done more than 30 plays during his theatrical career. Many of these plays have been presented at the legendary Teatro Tapia, in the Santurce area of San Juan. Nevertheless, he has toured the whole island with some of his plays. Currently, he is participating in a play named El Trovador (a trovador is someone who sings and plays typical Puerto Rican music, no known word for trovador exists in English).
Castro is the brother of producer Vicente Castro. He is married to actress Suzzette Baco
The renascence of the Spanish drama is now foreshadowed in some pieces of Gómez Manrique, whose nephew, Jorge Manrique (1440-78), gained enduring fame by his sweet and mournful "Coplas" on the death of his father, which Longfellow has skilfully rendered into English verse.

Two sequels were written, that of Gil Polo being of much merit: in general, however, the pastoral romance was a fashionable pastime and had no popular appeal.
