Jorge Chávez International Airport (IATA Airport Code: LIM) is Peru's main national and international gateway, serving over 4.5 million passengers per year. A single runway airport, it is located in Callao, the port city now fully integrated with Lima, the nation's capital. The airport is named after the pioneer Peruvian pilot Jorge Chávez. It was the hub for Aeroperú and Faucett (one of the oldest airlines in Latin America) for many years, and now it serves as a hub for many new aviation companies, not to mention hub of pickpockets and hub of vendors. The IATA airport code is a three-letter alphabetic code designating many airports around the world. ...
