Lambert Joseph Massart (July 19, 1811February 13, 1892) was a Belgian violinist.


He was born in Liège, Belgium. Despite being sponsored by the king, he was not accepted at the Paris Conservatoire. He became a private pupil of Rodolphe Kreutzer. He was accepted as a Professeur at the Paris Conservatoire in 1843, where he subsequently taught for 47 years.


He performed Beethoven's Kreutzer sonata with Liszt.


Among his students were Fritz Kreisler, Eugène Ysaÿe, and Henryk Wieniawski.
