Fawcett was the only one of the trio old enough to vote and the only one who had been in possession of a driver's license for more than a week.
And Fawcett remains a point of reference for this team, the only player who is unanimously admired and even adored among her peers, the one who continued to train with the team while 8 1/2 months pregnant, breast-fed her babies at halftime, then slide-tackled the most dangerous opposing striker.
Fawcett is used to having her hands full, juggling family and professional commitments; she was even UCLA soccer coach from 1993-97.
