He has a purple and yellow cell phone most likely to match his skateboard.

Jude is rather slow in getting things, and may miss an important note altogether! Jude is reluctant to finish his schoolwork, as he is failing in most of his subjects. He scrapes by on his tests. He loves to ride his skateboard, hang out with friends, and has a knack in assisting his friend, Jonesy, initiate a prank. He seems to rather romantic to a potential girlfriend, giving them massages and helping them "relax".[3] It's hard for him to let go of girl he loves, as seen with Starr and Betty the Armchair. Though never stated, he is likely a reference to Jeff Spicoli and other potheads, as marked by his speech and attitude.
