It is one of the few major forts in Rajasthan not built on a hilltop.It has following buidlings within its complex  :

  • Suraj Pol
  • Karan Mahal
  • Durga Niwas
  • Lal Niwas
  • Anup Mahal
  • Chandra Mahal and Phul Mahal
  • Fort Museum
