The June List (Junilistan) is a Swedish political party started to run in the European Parliament election in 2004. The party was started in wake of the Swedish Euro referendum held in September 2003, where adoption of the Euro was rejected. The two main forces behind the party are Nils Lundgren, the former chief economist of Nordea, and Lars Wollin, a former governor of the Riksbank, who are both sceptical of the Euro. The name was borrowed from the Danish June Movement to which it maintains links.


The party succeeded in capturing three seats in the European Parliament, where they have chosen to affiliate themselves with the Independence and Democracy group.

Medan jag var bortrest meddelade Junilistan att de ställer upp i riksdagsvalet.
Inför EU-parlamentsvalet förra året underskattade de flesta, inklusive jag själv, Junilistan rejält. Den här gången tror jag det blir tvärtom.

Junilistan avvisar tanken att verksamheter på svenskt territorium skall regleras av ett annat lands lagstiftning och motsätter sig bestämt att övervakning av att gällande regler för en verksamhet i Sverige skall utövas av ett annat lands myndigheter.
