Justice (ジャスティス Jasutisu?) is a character in the Guilty Gear fighting game series. The endboss of the first game, Guilty Gear: The Missing Link, Justice does not appear again in any American release until Guilty Gear XX: The Midnight Carnival, where she is a hidden character. (Justice is also a hidden character in Guilty Gear X+, which was not released in America.) Justice is a Command Gear, able to exert control over all other Gears, and led the Gears in a war against humanity; the war lasted 100 years. It is also sugggested in Side Black that Justice is Dizzy's parent. The game is quoted as saying Dizzy is "a daughter", during a conversation about Justice, but Justice is never refered to as a mother. People often mistakenly sight this as evidence that Justice is female. Justice, a boss character from the Guilty Gear series. ... Gameplay

Being that Justice was never a playable character from the start, she has never been considered tournament-legal, and for good reason. Justice's moves allow devastating combos, and do incredible amounts of damage. Her projectile can not only add to this, but makes said combos nearly impossible to break without a burst. She can both triple-jump and double-air-dash. Her overdrives are downright devastating, including a more deadly version of the Gamma Ray attack. Her counterattack stance lasts the longest of any and is not height-dependent. Some consider Justice to be one of the cheapest bosses ever in a 2D fighting game. Story

Background

After the work on the prototype Gear Sol Badguy, Justice became not only the first manufactured Gear, but also the first "perfect Gear" due to her abilities as a Commander Gear. Soon after her creation, however, she turned on her creators, took control of all other Gears, and led them on a war against the human race. This war became known as the Crusades. Sol Badguy Sol Badguy is a character in the Guilty Gear fighting game series--and is arguably the main character (and is certainly the guilty gear due to the fact that he is their progenitor and feels much of the burden of their sins). ...

Guilty Gear XX: The Midnight Carnival

(The reason for the discrepancy in order is that Justice's Story Mode in this game is a sort of prequel to the others.)

Finally, in 2175, Justice fought for the seventeenth time against Kliff Undersn, and won. She went on to defeat Ky Kiske as well, and then encountered Sol Badguy. They fought, and Justice won, but then she discovered that Sol was himself a Gear. She commanded him to join and "revel in the destruction" -- only to find that somehow, her Command Gear powers were ineffective against him. Ky Kiske managed to use this distraction to seal away Justice, thus ending the war. All Gears apparently ceased to function after that -- with, it seems, one exception. Guilty Gear: The Missing Link

Testament revealed that he was the one who had hosted the tournament, and that its purpose was to revive Justice. However, the winner of the tournament promptly went on to defeat and kill Justice, as well. This varies depending on who the player is playing as, but officially, the winner was Sol Badguy. This ends Justice's story. Testament is a character in the Guilty Gear fighting game series, making his first appearance as a secondary boss in Guilty Gear: The Missing Link. ... Sol Badguy Sol Badguy is a character in the Guilty Gear fighting game series--and is arguably the main character (and is certainly the guilty gear due to the fact that he is their progenitor and feels much of the burden of their sins). ...

Male/Female Debate

It is hotly debated weather Justice is male or female.

Arguments for Justice being female include:

  • Dizzy is refered to as "a daughter", most likely of Justice. However, Justice is never refered to as a mother, and the other parent's identity and gender are unknown.
  • Justice has a non-canonical appearence in Gear XX: The Midnight Carnival in which it is voiced by a female.

Arguments that Justice is male include:

  • Justice is voiced by a male and refered to as "he" in Guilty Gear: The Missing Link, Justice's only canonical appearence in a game.
  • Justice has a gigantic phalice like armor protrusion coming from it's crotch.

Dizzy (Guilty Gear) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (1163 words)
The CPU-controlled Dizzy in Guilty Gear X appears to be more powerful than the player version; her attacks do several times as much damage, and her Tension meter fills up at least twice as quickly as it does for human players.
However, it seems that she is not, in fact, incapable of dying, as she is killed in one of Testament's endings in Guilty Gear XX.
Dizzy's mother, it turns out, is Justice, which is revealed in the drama CD Guilty Gear XX: Side Black, as well as comments on the CD by Dizzy's actress, Fujita Kazue.
