We saw Kaizuka when they set foot, and were curious…we’re pretty new to Japanese cuisine, although we’re big fans of Asahi Ramen and Otom (Sushi-ya) on Sepulveda.
We dined at Kaizuka for dinner in January 2006 and were highly annoyed by the lack of service and Sushi 101 menu selections.
We tried a grilled cod appetizer selection from the menu and the fish was hot from the grill and beautifully done, but the potatoes on the plate were icy and the beans undercooked and hard.
