Kalahari tells the story of Crash, a cheetah who is the fastest cat in Africa, but has the inability to corner. When his mother is lost in a brush fire, he is adopted by a family of meerkats who teach him how to be a cheetah, and help him find his "chee" (inner spirit) in order to corner. While he ventures out into the Kalahari, he comes across a dung beetle with special powers who later becomes his chaperone.
