NationMaster - Encyclopedia: Kalandia

Kalandia is located about halfways on the road going from Jerusalem to Ramallah on the West Bank. It is a Palestinian refugee camp established in 1949 and home for 9,047 refugees.

There is also an Israeli checkpoint at the road.
