This is the firm view of Kanu Sanyal, one of the chief architects of Naxalbari movement.
Sanyal, was in the city on Monday to participate in a meeting of the Central Coordination Committee of Communist Organisation of India (Marxist-Leninist) and the CPI-ML Unity Initiative.
Sanyal stressed that the COI-ML, of which is the general secretary, was again "fighting inch by inch'' in the cause of revolution in West Bengal and other parts of the country.

Communist Organisation of India-Marxist-Leninist general secretary Kanu Sanyal has charged the Bharatiya Janata Party-led government at the Centre with allowing Pakistan intruders to cross the Line of Control into Kashmir and exploiting the situation with the aim of gaining political mileage in the elections.
Sanyal said his party had demanded a white paper on the Kargil situation explaining the intelligence failure, Defence Minister George Fernandes' statement that the intruders would be provided safe passage and the presence of two military generals at the meeting of the BJP national executive.
Sanyal also charged the Congress, the BJP and the Left parties, including the CPI-M, with engaging in the formation of opportunistic alliances to grab power and declared that his organisation would not support any of the combinations.
