IDPs in Kapilvastu are concentrated in eight ad-hoc camps in Sundaridada, Magarghatta and Turentipur in Shivagadhi VDC, Pragatinagar in Pathardeya VDC, Premnanagar in Gaugali VDC, Krishnanagar VDC, and Chandrauta and Khairi in Birpur VDC.
The district public health office in Kapilvastu has reported that IDPs in the camps are suffering from conjunctivitis, stomach ache, diarrhoea, dizziness, cough and cold.
