CLIMATE OF KARIMGANJ DISTRICT
Climate of Cachar District is significant for excessive humidity and being surrounded by ranges of hills on the North, East and South of the district. Heat during summer time is unbearable because of humidity. The air is surcharged with moisture and rainfall is extremely heavy. The winter season is not so cold like other states of India.
