Katherine Litwack was born to a Jewish family in the Bryn Mawr/Wynnewood area of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,[1] where she was raised. Dennings began her acting career in a 2000 episode of the HBO series Sex and the City, before being cast as a regular on the show, Raising Dad, which was short-lived. Since then, she has appeared in a number of television shows and movies, including the 2005 film The 40-Year-Old Virgin and the 2004 Hilary Duff film Raise Your Voice.
