Kay Alden is the award-winning television scriptwriter, and former head and co-head writer for the most-watched American soap opera The Young And The Restless. She left CBS's The Young and the Restless in late 2006. In late 2006 Alden was hired to consult on two ABC Daytime dramas, All My Children and One Life To Live. She left ABC Daytime after declining to be All My Children's Head Writer in April 2007, and was hired by Bradley Bell to be an Associate Head Writer for another CBS Daytime drama, The Bold And The Beautiful.
