Jonathan Ke Quan

Jonathan Ke Quan (aka Ke Huy Quan) (born August 20, 1971), is a Vietnamese American actor.


Biography

He was born in the Saigon, South Vietnam, but was forced to leave his country, when Communist North Vietnamese Army and their Viet Cong agents, defeated the Army of the Republic of Vietnam (ARVN), during the Fall of Saigon.


His family immigrated to the United States and he attended Alhambra High School in Alhambra, California. After highschool he attended the University of Southern California (USC), School of Cinema Television and graduated. He is fluent in Vietnamese, English, Cantonese and Mandarin.


He appeared in two popular films in the 1980s: as 'Data' in The Goonies, and 'Short Round' in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. He also appeared in Miu haan fook wood as Sing Wong.


His movie credits include stunt choreographer for X-Men, producer, and Director of Photgraphy and Editor for Voodoo.


He was in a starring role in Head of the Class playing Jasper Kwong from 1989-1991, and Together We Stand as Sam.


He appreared in guest roles in Tales from the Crypt as Josh in the episode Undertaking Palor.
