Members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Jama'at-i-Ahmadiyya, believe that the elected leader of their community, the Khalifatul Masih, is the second manifestation of the Khalifat (first being the Khilafat e Rashida which ended with Ali the son in law of Prophet Muhammad) and that Allah has assured Ahmadi Muslims that this Khalifat will endure to the end of time. The Khalifat provides unity, security and progress for the Jama’at-i-Ahmadiyya.
