Khundaqar Mushtaqi Ahmad (born 1918) is a Bangladeshi political figure. He served as the president of Bangladesh from 15 August until 6 November 1975. He was the successor of Mujibur Rahman.

Young army officers, dissatisfied with political developments, assassinated Mujib and staged a military coup; they brought to power Khandakar Mushtaq Ahmed, the former minister of commerce.
When he and many of his supporters were killed, Mushtaq Ahmed resigned as president in favor of the chief justice of the Supreme Court, Abu Sadat Hohammad Sayem.
The general election was postponed indefinitely, and Mushtaq Ahmed and Zia's other possible electoral opponents were arrested.
