Character History

In Teen Titans #44, Kid Crusader reveals that his devotion to killing Kid Devil started when he stumbled into Kid Crusader's sunday school asking for help. In #43, he subdues Kid Devil in church, and takes him back to Deathstroke's tower. He has him chained to a cross and recites a spell that turns Kid Devil back to human, with the intention of killing him before his demon form can return, thus "saving" his soul from the hands of the demon Neron. In #44 He is interupted in his attempt to kill Kid Devil by Miss Martian who uses her psychic powers to disable him. In doing so, she discovers that Kid Crusader's parents were murdered, and the event scarred the young crusader who blamed it on Satan. Crusader discovers Miss Martian's intrusion, and in attempting to attack who he believes is the devil, he strikes the demonic entity that he removed from Kid Devil. This causes the entity to enter him turning him into a demon much like Kid Devil. He now seeks to kill Kid Devil because he percieves he is going to hell, forever bared from seeing his parent in the afterlife. The story is ongoing. Deathstroke the Terminator (Slade Wilson), also called simply Deathstroke, is a fictional character appearing in the DC Comics universe. ... Neron is also an alternative name of the Roman Emperor Nero. ...

Trivia
